Alan Varela has become the first player in Portuguese football history to score and assist for his team in the same match.
In Sunday's match against Benfica, Varela scored a stunning goal that saw him score and assist in the same game for the first time in his career.
The forward was on target early in the second half when he volleyed home from close range after a through ball from teammate Rui Patrício.
His assist came moments later as he found space on the right flank and played a beautiful cross into the box, which was met by substitute Diogo Jota who slotted home with ease.
